The market takes place on the 3rd Saturday of the month at the Hillcrest Centre, 9.30am-2pm. The 2023 dates are above.

There are around 30 stalls including a carboot sale in the carpark. The market offers a variety of stalls featuring locally produced art, craft, food, clothing, soaps, honey etc, as well as vintage items and carboot pitches.

The Hillcrest cafe is open all day offering delicious breakfast, lunch and snacks, and we sometimes have live music.

Pitch fees are kept at a low cost (£8-15) thanks to the generous sponsorship of Newhaven Town Council and SCDA.

The market is not managed by Hillcrest Centre staff, and so the Hillcrest staff cannot book pitches or answer specific market-related questions.
